Church family,
I have been praying that by Christmas, we have three new families added to our church family. I am believing that God can do this, and I believe He already has people in mind that we need to invite.
I am asking each of you to step out in faith. Look at your friends. Your coworkers. Your family. Even your enemies. Think of someone who might be going through something and could use prayer. Think of the widow who is lonely. Think of the person who needs hope. Start inviting people to our church.
Here's the good news, we do not need the right words. We just need to extend the invitation. That's it. God doesn't need us to be smooth or polished. He just needs us willing.
So start praying about who you might invite. Ask God to bring a name to mind, and then ask them to come to church with you.
I am believing that God is going to do a great work in our church. And I am asking you to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this time. He's already moving in people's hearts, our job is just to show up and invite.
Three families is nothing for a God who spoke the universe into being. Let's pray boldly, let's keep our eyes open for who He's placing in front of us, and let's each take a step of faith, starting today.
Prayer: Lord, we believe You for three new families by Christmas. Bring the names to mind of who we need to invite: the friend, the coworker, the lonely widow, the one who needs hope. Give us the courage to ask, even without the perfect words. We want to be Your hands and feet in this season. In Jesus' name, Amen.
